Hoboken is a gem of New Jersey. Not only is it its own city with gorgeous architecture and flourishing economy, but it’s right across the Hudson River from Manhattan. You would be more than fortunate to live in an area like this.
Hoboken has many little bits of history within its beautiful terrain, such as Sybil’s Cave, which is the oldest manmade structure in the city; and Our Lady of Grace Church, which one of the first churches in the U.S. to be built using the German Gothic style.
Although you’ll do a lot of walking in this city, there are plenty of parks in which you can have a walk, a jog, or any other exercise. You can also skateboard, play baseball, play basketball, walk your dog, and enjoy other activities.
Living in Hoboken is also one of the best cultural experiences you can have in New Jersey. There’s an Arts and Music Festival in the fall, a Movies Under the Stars series throughout the summer, theater and concerts in the park, and Family Fun Nights.
When it comes to transportation, Hoboken doesn’t leave anyone wanting, as it has everything from taxis to limousines to car-sharing to shuttle buses. With an area that’s in such close proximity to New York City, this is about as ideal as transportation can get!
