- Kensico Dam Fireworks Celebration: Start the holiday weekend early on July 3 at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. Gates open at 5:00 PM, with the fireworks lighting up the sky around 9:00 PM.

- Jersey City Freedom & Fireworks Festival: One of the region's largest events features world-famous Grucci Fireworks on July 4. Enjoy the all-day festival from Noon to 10:00 PM, with fireworks launching around 9:30 PM.
- Verona Fireworks & America 250 Celebration: Kick off the holiday week early on July 1 at 7:00 PM with fireworks starting around 9:15 PM.
Connecticut Celebrations
Fairfield County
- Fairfield Independence Day Fireworks: Set up your blankets at Jennings and Penfield Beaches. While the main beach display is on July 5 at 9:15 PM, you can also catch the town's Independence Day show on July 3.
- Norwalk Fireworks: Head to Calf Pasture Beach on July 3 starting at 5:30 PM for a live beachside concert followed by a dazzling display over the Sound.
- Stamford & Westport: Start the week with stunning dusk displays at Stamford's Cummings Beach or Westport's Compo Beach on July 2.
