I want to thank Anna Hawley for all of her hard work selling our house. She was a great pick to have as our realtor. She was very knowledgeable about how to go about selling our house and what to list it for, she did all the recent comps and sent out a bunch of social media marketing which drove a lot of foot traffic to the two open houses and generated a lot of interested people to book a time to see it. She very quickly understood what was important to us in a home and tailored her suggestions to that. She showed us dozens of properties in Putnam and Dutchess counties before we found the one that is perfect for us. Once our offer was accepted, she helped us to find a broker and lawyer, and did a wonderful job project managing everything through closing. And even since closing she has been invaluable. Anna Hawley does her job with passion, enthusiasm, and dedication and always with a smile and a can-do attitude. We began working with Anna way back in March of 2023, as quite tentative sellers just seeking ideas and advice. Though Anna knew we were not committing to anything at all, she still spent a great deal of time with us, made some recommendations, and let us know she would be happy to help us. Then she kept in touch with us periodically and encouraged us with the buying of our new home 3 hours away from here, though it was no part of any work she was doing. When we finally were ready to commit to getting our home ready for sale, again, she offered us reasonable and sensible recommendations, helped us find people to do the work on a budget we could afford, and remained patient with us as we completed various projects and missed our hoped-for-deadlines. Then she made a plan for a “Coming Soon” announcement and finally for going to market. She spent almost 3 hours setting-up our home for photos, showings, and an open house and made it look better than we had ever imagined this 34-year-old place could look. She sold our home essentially in 3 days! And all the while, she kept us appraised of what was happening and eased our tension and stress; we know she will be with us every step we now take toward closing.
